KTEC is a not-for profit organisation registered as a company limited by guarantee with the registration number 4837917.

The organisation is based in Bedwell, Stevenage, Hertfordshire and attracts beneficiaries from Bedwell, Shephall and Chells. However our research using Stevenage Borough Council Children Centre Service Fact Sheet January 2008 reveal Bedwell and Shephall are regarded as the most deprived areas in Stevenage. Likewise, according to statistics provided in Every Child Matters in Stevenage - Stevenage District Children's Trust Partnership plan 07/08, Stevenage is the "2nd highest district for up take of free school meals in Hertfordshire 10.84%". It further states that Stevenage is the "highest of all the districts for number of young people under age 16 years living in income deprived households 19.11%".
 
Thus our key aim is to empower disadvanaged communities by delivering projects that would enable children, young people and their families develop their horizon and achieve their potentials.
